When I try to start up the regular garmin screen comes up and says at the bottom that the system software is missing.
This happend after I used the online updater to install the latest garmin fix of software. or maybe it was firm ware anyway after it downloaded and installed the upgrade it said to restart and the result was missing system software.
I have a Mac and when I try to run the software updater again is cannot see the my garmin 760. I have tried to update on a PC with exactly the same results.
Well if the system is missing it cannot be detected, contact Garmin support for the fix. This happens time after time in their updaqtes
