I am 59 years old and in menopause for 12 months. Extreme hot flushes.Hormone blood test normal but overactive thyroid. Will homeopath treatment for my thyroid help to prevent the hot flushes?

No, there is not homeopathic fix for thyroid (or much else for that matter), over active thyroid can mess with menstration and will cause you to feel hot. you need medications to suppress this

What happens if your diastolic dropd in the twenties

That is definitely low enough to have it checked out.

The main effects are reported to be dizziness and falling over, however, it may be a symptom of something more worrying, and that is what you should find out about.

There are several possibilities, such as thyroid or liver problems, but rare, so the chances are it isn't serious. Get along to a doctor, who may order tests.

Doctor ordered blood tests to check for diabetes and my thyroid but why these tests?

If you think your doctor has ordered you blood testing just to check the facts of diabetes and thyroid, I would say-you are wrong. There are numbers of reasons why the doctor prescribes blood tests. The Lipoprofile will tell the doctor the blood fats of yours ( example-lipids -- with Cholesterol) which are doing. This is SOP test. Diabetes can also cause high cholesterol. There are some other series of test to identify the actual facts of your body through blood test. A nmr blood test can resolve a lot of issue and therefore you can see many times doctors supposed to prescribe this.
