Bios setting can be seen before booting .When computer starts start pressing "Del" button or in some pc need to press f1 or f2. Then in bios setting u will see hardware setting.IN that option hdd drive setting is present. After that save setting and start booting. If then not works then default all the setting of the bios and try.
