I have a 2010 Subaru Tribeca, I was changing the CD when suddenly the sound of the mechanism stopped and the screen displayed "mecha error", I disassembled the radio and disassembled it until I reached the block where the discs are and I found that they had stayed 2 of them were stuck, with the help of a flat screwdriver I levered them gently and managed to put them back in the correct position, then I reassembled and installed it, when I connected the power it worked correctly again, now as a precaution I only use 1 CD at the time
