"Fdl" is a door latch error code. This indicates that you have a failure of the door latch, the latch pin on the door, interconnecting wiring, or the Central Control Unit (CCU). A physcial inspection of the door latch should be done first to determine, if there is any physical damage to any of the latch components. Next, unplug the washer and remove the top panel of the washer by locating and loosening the three screws that hold the panel n place in the rear of the washer. With the screws removed, the panel will slide back then lift off. Perform a physical inspection of all the electrical connections on the latch and trace them to the CCU and do the same.
