My computer internet explorer is currently running with add-ons disabled. but when i click to manage them i don't understand what to enable. i am not able to understand all the help menu tells me to do. need details about how to fix this please. when i try i just make a bigger mess.

Hello,
You can try
1. to enable all add-ons . Look for those that are currently disabled, select them one after the other and decide if you should enable each one: The Activex Controls, Adobe Browser Helper Object, Adobe Plug etc.
2. reset IE to its default configuration.
3. reinstall IE
4. install another browser (Mozilla FireFox, Opera, Safari)

You will need IE mostly on Microsoft web sites.You can configue Automatic Updates so you won't have the IE problem.

The Full Steps are :-

  • Right click IE.
  • Select Properties.
  • Go to Programs tab.
  • There Click the " Manage add-ons ".
  • There click Toolbars and Extensions.
There you will see a list of add-ons. There click the one you want to enable and select the tab enable of the window which is at a lower pert of the window. Please rate me, Regards.
