While using Execl 2007, we are getting compatibility mode as well the link error. If the same file used from other same pc with same config of HW & SW it works fine.
If we remove all links & save the file as macro enabled .xlmx it works.
.xls files opened in Excel 2007 is "always" in "Compatibility Mode" since default 2007 excel files have .xlsx extensions
