Yesterday I drove my buggy from the club trolley shed to the putting green, about 80yds. All okay. When I got back on my buggy it went about 25 yards all ok. I then got back on my buggy it went about 12 inches and stopped abruptly! I kept using the accelerator and sometimes I went 2 yard and stopped, but mainly it was about 12 inches. I then drove it back to the trolley shed, but I was hardly turning the accelerator. I was going about 2 mph, if I tried to go faster it stopped. The two batteries are fully charged, the indicator light was showing fully charged, Do you think there is a fault in the accelerator? someone suggested I need a solenoid??? What's that? Any advice please?
Check your motor brushes..battery and these are common faults..do you carry to course in car and break down ..it might be wiring fault also
