I m facing problem with my disk
Event ID - 51 - An error was detected on device DeviceHarddisk0D during a paging operation. Source is disk.
I m getting a lot of these messages in system events,
Configuration is
motherboard :ASUS P5GV-TMX
manual has an entry showing storage/RAID -- 1 x UltraDMA 100/66/33
4 x Serial ATA
hard disk info -
one is SATA -I (40 Gb hitachi) supporting UDMA mode 5(ultra ATA/100) but active mode is UDMA mode 2(Ultra ATA/33)
new SATA-II (250 GB WD)supporting UDMA mode 7(ultra ATA/133) but active mode is UDMA mode 7(Ultra ATA/512).
Please tell wht to do?
It seems as serious disk drive error to try fixing any errors that may be present on drive please run from command prompt [as admin] cd /D <faulty drive letter> then chkdsk /r if asks to unmount <or scan after reboot if it is sys disk> say Yes <lonely Y also does the job> this should fix the trouble, if not please send message

i tried disk check it says disk is good . no bad sectrs and all, disk is healthy
i also tried just connecting one hard disk. in this case hitachi works in UDMA mode 5. without any problems.
but western digital causes same problem.
i tried formatting hard disk.
DISK checks.
reinstalling. none of this worked.
