Code for cox remote

SOURCE: need remote code for sherwood

Comcast came and the receiver / tv was not capable of being run by another remote as far as volume, just off and on

I google'd remote codes for this device. code 1007 seems to work as far as volume controls and the off/on switch goes.

always press the mode key of the device they want to control before pressing any other key

Power on the device

1. Press and hold the appropriate Mode key (TV, DVD or AUX) on the remote control.
2. Without releasing the chosen Mode key, press and hold the OK key simultaneously.
3. Release both the Mode key and the OK key at the same time.
   All the Mode keys should flash twice.

• If it does not turn off, repeat steps 2 through 6 trying each code for the brand until the correct code is found.

1. Repeat steps 1 through 7 to program other devices if needed.
2. Press the appropriate Mode key on the remote control to work with the selected device. To use the remote control for the Member's U-verse TV Receiver again, have them press the AT&T Mode key.
