LE code keeps flashing.......
Press "end of cycle". Plug off the wall. Code can be an indication of several issues. The most common cause is over-sudsing in the machine. Overloading the wash with too much laundry may also cause the LE error code. Lastly, a breakdown in the signal between the microprocessor and the motor may cause that error code. This can occur if there is a loose wire, see that all wires are tightened..........
I tried the Solution #1 and by unplugging my LG for 15 minutes and removing the water from the machine, it is now running fine.
Just had the LE code flashing on my LG front load washer. Washer was at the normal water level. Tried to start several times, no luck. I then tried premm's sugestion and turned the machine off and unpluged it for a minute then plugged it back in....the machine started right up and cycled normally.

We had the same LG washer for 2 years and we just got this "LE" code a couple days ago. It was due to too much load. We tried the unplug / reset / plug back in many times. We also called the service, nothing works. Finally, we were referred to a local service center. They immediately told us that it is the sensor problem and we need to have it replaced. The part costs less than $30, but the labor and service change is $260! We should never buy this LG junk. We are seriously thinking of throwing it away. But it would be a tremendous burden to the environment.
Have had this machine for 1 1/2 years. Just randomly got the LE code yesterday. It was a small load. I tried taking some clothes out and just putting on spin to clear water. The code kept coming up.Now machine has wet clothes with wate sitting in it..... Machine is very heavy so I need to get several people to help try to get to the plug to unplug it. I doubt that will resolve the issue. I will call for service but know it will cost a lot. A machine this age should have no problems especially at the price they charge.
Also have problem with mildew smell, nothing works. I would never purchase htis machine again but am not in the financial position to replace it or I would.
Yes; we have this same problem. We have had that same code come up several times before; but unplugged it and plugged it back in and it has returned to working normal after that (luckily the plug is not hard to access). However; it occurred again this weekend and is not starting back up...it sounds like the drum is stuck (it's trying to spin, but won't)...I hear a semi-high pitched sound a couple times as it tries to move, but it can't and the LE code comes on. We've only had the machine about 2 years!!
I have the same problem, LE error code. Everything has been working fine for a couple of years but we only use the machine as a secondary laundry unit about 1-2x a month. I don't have a problem fixing a sensor rather than wait for a service tech but I would like a parts breakdown if available.
We had the washer 3 years. We were washing a light load. We got the LE code. We called LG, they told us to unplug the unit,wait 30 minutes press and hold the start button for 15 seconds. Then wait a half hour and plug it in. Then set it to no spin to drain the water. The water drained and we tried to run a load with one towel. We got the LE code again. We then tried the above again with on success. I called LG for service, it turns out there is no service in my area. I am 30 minutes south of a major population center.
I asked LG to send some to get the unit, they refused. They told me to take the unit 75 miles to the nearest repair center.
I called a junk man and he hauled it off.
