Here is how to reset your Nintendo Wii:
1.
First, the easy way. A soft reset of the Ninetendo Wii. If you Nintendo
Wii has just started acting up and there is no reason to perform a hard
reset then follow this instruction. Simply press the reset button and
hold down for 2 seconds on your Nintendo Wii Console.
2. Now,
for the more advanced hard reset. Interestingly, the Nintendo Wii has
NO hard reset facility to be accessed through the machine or via
buttons. The ONLY way to hard reset your Nintendo Wii is to UNPLUG it
for 5 minutes. Once it is unplugged it resets itself and your badly
behaving Nintendo Wii should be restored.
Note: By hard resetting the Nintendo Wii, it will not delete any information on the SD Card that is used for storage. If you wish to delete this data, stick it into a computer with a multi-media card device or a digital camera and reformat it.
Another option to try is to go to the following:
Wii settings and press reformat wii system memory.
The last part of wii settings and press reformat wii system memory.
The last part of wii settings and press reformat wii settings and press reformat wii system memory.
If all else fails you can ask nintendo, you can call them at 1800-255-3700
I hope this helps and good luck.
