The 10178 works great with a DTV remote on a model 3232
We had a slightly different problem. DirecTV listed many codes but none of them worked. I scoured the Internet and found one that did the trick - 10178! I hope that works for you. If not, the Polaroid codes that were listed (but didn't work for us) were:
10765, 10865, 11262, 11276, 11314, 11316, 11326, 11327, 11328 and 11341.

sorry, even the 2 diff directv installers that came out cannot figure it out. another website said to try the mitsubishi codes. haven't done it yet, though. good luck.
With the set on, we moved the mode switch slide at the top from the left (AV1) to the extreme right (TV). Then we depressed the mute and select buttons together until the green light at the top of the remote flashed twice. Then we entered many five-digit codes provided by the DirecTV maintenance/problem solver, depressed the PWR button under the mode switch box. The TV was supposed to cut off - it didn't. We are using the Polaroid remote to cut the TV on and off and adjust the volume and mute. We are using the DirecTV remote to change channels. How do we program the DirecTV remote for the Polaroid TV, Model 3211TLXB, 32" HD Widescreen LCD Television?
