You will also need to know how to program it when you have found the code use this LINK for the sky tool when you have found the code follow this 2 step procedure.

1. Press tv on your Sky remote control.

2. Press and hold down select and the red button together until the red light at the top of your Sky remote control flashes twice. Then enter the remote control code using the number keypad. The red light will flash twice if a valid code has been entered.

3. Point your Sky remote control at your TV and press the vol + and vol -buttons. If this turns the volume up and down as you'd expect, tryother TV functions to check that your Sky remote control is now workingproperly

I have a 30" Targa Visionary TV, model LT 3020. I cannot find a code to make it respond to the latest, rev 9 (or older) Sky Remote.
you will have to ask for the sky operator for the code sir.

mostly there wont be any code. just ask him if you need to change some settings to make it respond.

OK,

This really depends on which brand/model of TV you have and which Sky remote version. The code you need is specific to the brand/model of TV.

The Sky remote version is printed on a sticker inside the battery compartment. The older Sky remotes will have "RC1600/00" on the sticker. Newer versions will also have either "Rev 4", "Rev 6", or "Rev 8" on the sticker.

If you have a new TV and an older Sky remote (i.e. before Rev 8) your remote may not work with your TV and you will need to buy a new Sky remote if you want to operate TV and Sky box with one remote.

Please post back with your Sky remote version number and your TV brand and EXACT model number. I will then be able to provide codes for your remote and programming instructions.

Need a code so that i can operate my LG tv. model no. 37LG5010 using my sky remote.
Firstly you may need to identify which version of remote control you have, versions that are dated pre 2002 may not operate the more modern TV's and a new remote control will be needed To see which version you have, open the battery cover on the back of the Sky remote and look at the text on the sticker it will state ‘Sky rev’ (or Sky+ rev or Sky HD rev), followed by a number, such as 4, 6 or 8. This number indicates the version of your Remote Control.
Version 4: May 2001 (Sky+ introduced)
Codes are 0065, or 0405,or 0037
Version 6: March 2004
Code are 0065, or 0405, or 0037
Version 8: January 2006 (includes all current Sky+HD remote controls)
Code are 1293, or 1206, or 0206
Programming the remote control
To control your TV firstly switch on the TV set, point the Sky remote at the TV, press the "TV" button on the Sky remote, then press and hold the "Select" and "Red" buttons together until the red light at the top of the Sky remote control flashes twice. Enter the code for the TV listings above (Use the 4 digit codes), the red light will flash twice if a valid code has been entered. Press the standby button on the Sky remote control, this should switch the TV set off, if so then press the "Select" button to store the settings. You should now be able to switch the TV back on and use the volume control button from your Sky remote.
If the TV did not switch off then it may require a different code, you can either start again using one of the alternative Direct codes above or continue with this process by continuously pressing "TV" then "Standy" then "TV" then "Standby" etc until the TV set switches off. This will provide a manual scan for variations within that product code

42LH3000 I CANT GET MY SKY REMOTE TO WORK WITH THIS TV. I NEED A CODE IF THERE IS ONE
To use sky+ remote control with LG 42LH3000 you must have a rev ver8 remote controller.
The codes are stored in a database of the Sky remote. If the old codes don't work
you may need to buy the latest Sky remote. Otherwise it is a matter of waiting for the
new Sky remote which may have the updated codes.
Note: LG Support supplied the following for Rev.8: 0206, 1293, 1665, 1174, 1176, 1219, 1280, 0857, 0851.

Version 1: August 1998
Version 2: December 1999
Version 4: May 2001 (Sky+ introduced)
Version 6: March 2004
Version 8: January 2006 (includes all current Sky+HD remote controls)
Once you have the ver 8 controller - code 1176 should work

Dear folks,

Not sure if you still need the answer but the code is 1174. I have tried it and it works -
have TV and SKY on press TV on remote
press red button and Select together until the red light on the remote flashes twice
enter the code
press the SKY button
It works!!

Sky remote code for LG 42LC46 tv
Hi - I also have the LG42LC46, i got it to work by using code 206 but you need a REV 8 remote, i tried it with a REV 4 and it doesn't work.
