    I installed Vista Business on my nx9600 and Vista actually found all drivers except for maybe 2 or 3. However, I still have continuous problem with the sound and wireless drivers (both provided by Vista). My wireless connection goes to limited connection and then just drops. My sound just doesn't work and I've tried reinstalling the drivers but to no avail.

Have you been to the makers webiste and downloaded driver specifically for vista? A lot of xp drivers wont work with xp.

i have vio vgn-cr220e
i bought this laptop with vista.
after that i had to replace vista with XP.
now i successfully install xp. but i m having a problem of VGA,EATHERNET. drivers.
plz help me for this problem.
note:
i tried the company's site not helpfull with theis 2 drivers.

HP does not support the operating system.

I own the laptop and I've been using Vista Ultimate with Microsoft's WDDM display drivers; however, I can't get ATI's drivers to work.

So, I can't play any games. Aparently, WDDM sucks.

Being windows vista is most likely is a driver problem. Is it internal or external sound system, not the card that works. If the manufacturer does not have an updated driver by now you can set the device to work like windows xp and it should only effect that device. Also search the web there are driver packs out there for windows vista, keep in mind its all the drivers for everything on one large compressed file so it should be a large file size.

Ultimately I would say upgrade to windows 7, its how windows vista should have worked. I have devices from windows 98 that work on win7 no problems. Vista was just very premature in its release. Hope this can help. Sorry for my bad spelling.

You need to go to the Lexmark support site and A) Make sure you are using the latest driver and specifically one that works with Vista and B) If none exist then your existing driver may have become corrupted...try it again (reinstall). Tango.
