Remove the trigger

How do you take the gun apart to check if the trigger contacts are worn for a Lincoln SP100 Mig Welder ( I don't want to break something in the disassembly).

Use a meter to check the contacts with the gun disconnected from the unit. Touch the terminals and operate the trigger to see if it is working. Vary the pressure and angle of operation to ensure the trigger is not broken internally. If you still need to disassemble the fallout is not too bad as you will be certain it was broken. Cheers.
