Windows Explorer cannot display web page with http but will display web page with https
Your Advance Options < in INTERNET OPTIONS of your ie requires to be reset to DEFAULT
Also RESET internet Security Settings to MEDIUM HIGH in the INTERNET OPTION< TOOLS of you IE

Hi.. https will work only for specific sites and not with everyone. eg. facebook.com will not work with https. So try with http.
