Well first are you running 32 bit or 64 bit win 7? there is a compatability mode on win 7 just like XP you right click on the icon that starts the game and go to the properties (does not work with the shortcut if you are on the shortcut there is a find target tab ) once in properties you should see a tab at the top that says compatability in there you can set it to 256 mode and to run like it is on win 95/ 98
