If above does not work, you may have to format the memory card (use quick format), and then use sd card recovery software to scan again the memory card and recover your files.
Format the sd card with your computer. There should be a slot to fit the card and go to my computer to format the disk. The camera does not really take good stills, but it really takes good videos.
Well, to transfer the files from the HDD to the SD card, just take the card out, and connect it to your computer's card reader. If you don't have one, then you can buy one for $10 or less. Then using the supplied USB cable, connect your camcorder to the computer. On the computer, click "View Folder" and then simply copy it from the HDD to the SD card using the computer as a conduit.
