E73: I/O Hardware Error - Couldn't calibrate HSIO Bus from edram: this error is likely caused by a problem with the Ethernet port or supporting control devices.

Got the Xbox 360 E73 error? Want to get it fixed? Fact is that this problem may be tough to fix, and that's why many people will tell you to send your console over to Microsoft and pay $150. But is it really worth your $150? Is there maybe another way to get it fixed? The Xbox 360 E73 error may be tough to fix, but this doesn't mean that you can't repair it by yourself.
3 ways to fix the Xbox 360 E73 error
1. Restart your console.
2. Unplug all AV cables, and also unplug the power cord from the wall socket. Once that's done, plug them all back in correctly, and put your console back on.
3. Take out the hard drive, and put your console on. If the troubleshooting error has been gone, put your console off, and get the hard drive in again. Than put your console back on.
If these tips didn't fix your Xbox 360 E73 error, you will have to open up your console, and fix the problem from within. You can do this by 2 ways. You either send it over to Microsoft, or you will actually repair the troubleshooter by yourself with a repair guide.

Xbox 360 E73 error. What do I do?
Turn on unit until the red light flashes and the error code(E 73) shows up on the screen. Next insert toothpicks in the back of the console(while unit is running) into the cooling fans, this is to suppose to overheat the console and start two red lights flashing. Turn off console when this happens(unplug all cords from console) and turn the system back on.

e73 is an input/output error. Hopefully you are still under warranty. Contact Microsoft at Toll free: (800) 4MY-XBOX or (800) 469-9269. If you are outside of your warranty period, I believe they will still repair it for $99

E73 is the scaler chip and that deals with the display on your Xbox 360 you will need to get it fixed and you can send it in to do this or repair it yourself using a good guide.

E73 error code comes up 1 red light
From a little research I have read from other posts that the e73 error is a hardware issue. Problem may be caused by a problem with the ethernet port or supporting control devices. If you system is still under warranty, I would have xbox fix it first. If you open it up and break the seals then your warranty will be compromised.

5mins after turning back on e 73 is there
E73 error dont have anything to do with your harddrive. This is what E73 is E73: General Hardware Error: Ethernet port... this error is caused by a problem with the Ethernet port.
But I would almost guarantee it is the solder under the GPU which is the common problem for all overheated xbox360 systems. Wecan fix it for you if your interested please contact us for free estimate. xbox360fixer@verizon.net

here is what the error code means

E73: General Hardware Failure: Ethernet port... this error is caused by a problem with the Ethernet port.

and cose 1021 is a ghost code they have no idea from what i have found out
