i am using sony viao since 10years ,i am a doctor so, i need ur help,
i am getting error report as-the application failed to initialise properly[0xc0000034],whle instal some sot ware like Wm player etc.

Is this the first time you are trying to install Excel? Or are you trying to upgrade from a previous version? Is the Excel version you are trying to use a FULL version or the UPGRADE version (it will say on the box or CD). What operating system are you using (i.e. XP, Vista, etc.) Is Excel not installing or not opening or is it some other program that you're trying to use that's getting that error message...

it seems no problem in sony viao. your computer may be infected by spyware virus. if u have antivirus/internet security software installed then connect internet run live update. after that run full system virus scan.
