The board needs to be changed...You can do it yourself but its risky.. call Microsoft and they will change it for you.. even if the warranty is out.. Ive been doing this for a long time now and they still haven't charged anything.
It's a hardware issue and it may be covered under the 3year warranty as the red ring of death by microsoft. warranty starts from date purchased and you have to be the original owner of the 360.
