Good Day to You,
I would ask you to be patient if I go through something you have tried. Your question was posted under radiators so am not sure of model of farmall tractor or if a farmall. If you need to know more like firing order, tolerances for compression will need more specifics on tractor. I am going to go through this systematically. It takes 3 basic functions to make an engine run, Spark, Fuel, Compression. Will hit each one of these to make sure we covered all bases even though you have changed a few of these things.
I spent a little more time on the number 3 cause of what you said you have already done. Please fill free to comment back with any other questions you may have or if you need any clarifications. I hope this gives you some more things to look at. Thanks for using FixYa and have a great evening. Jeff
HELLO,please what is not starting,i will really appreciate if you can re-type the question.
name and model number.
take care
hello,
the starter wire has kind of gone bad...
I think, if you look at the wiring from front to back you will most
likly find one or more breaks in the insulation around the wires. This
will cause a drain to the starter or a short to the system. Solution:
track and replace all falty wires and ammeter
thanks for using fixya,
take care.

It is a Farmall A tractor
I have a farmall A tractor that won't start, it fires sometimes, but will not start. I have changed the carb, the ignition coil, the plugs & wires. It has battery start.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks, John
