Hi Jaygidvani,
Some programs are designed to work on win32(windows 98) tecnology and not with NT 5.0 (windows 2000) New Technology. They are called non-compatible programs. NT 5.1 (win xp) had similar problems in the begining but they were corrected to a huge extent when microsoft relesed sevice pack 2 and service pack 3.
The platform is diffrent for the program to oprate hence gives a error.
please check with the application vendor if there is patch for the application or a diffrent application availabe to perform the same function.
