Keyboard Problem I installed a keyboard to use with my laptop and then after unplugging it (USB) my laptop keyboard is typing out the characters that are in the little gray squares on the keys. I also noticed the light is on next to "1" (underneath the caplock indicator light). I don't have a manual for this laptop which I bought used. I tried your answer to the key sticking using the function key, but I would have to hold it down for each one. Could you help this laptop illiterate? It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I re read your problem and now I understand what you are saying. I need the exact make and model of your laptop so I can find the exact keyboard driver for your laptop. When I find it I will post the link here. Download your keyboard driver from the link I will post and install it. This will set up your keyboard like the day it was new. I read it to fast and thought you were having problems turning on sticky keys.
When you install the right driver you will be all fixed up. Get back to me with the model and number of your laptop.
