3 SSDEC No Response (DSP core freeze)
4 No signal/100% BER
5 Not activated
6 Not authorized
You should reset this unit to clear the error.
Your particular error indicates:
1- "0" no major error
2- "2" SSDEC Communication Error
9E seems to refer to a scratched or otherwise unreadable disc. Though the read problem could actually be with the laser mechanism instead. Try the disc in another player and verify that it is readable.
