My name is Peter. I am a retired field service refrigeration technician.
You do not have a 9V battery in your unit. It is usually located on the right hand side of the bottom toe plate. There is a small door. This is just a batter backup if you loose cooling or power.
CE means Communication Error. It is like the check engine light on your car. It just tells you that there is something wrong. The 'd' means door seal. There are no sensors or electronics connected to your door seal.
1.) Is your freezer fan running?
2.) Is your lower back condenser fan running?
If they are running the problem is with your main control board. This is located behind your freezer, on the left hand side and mounted on the side wall with several screws. This is a easy part to replace.
PART NUMBER: 216979700 Cost: $134.00
There are only several connectors on the back and a main cable connector.
If you elect to do the work your self, make sure you ground yourself by touching bare metal. Static electricity will knock out a board. Needless to say before the start of work unplug your unit.
If you were to call me when I was a service tech, I would double the part cost plus at least $140.00 labor.
You have a bad freezer fan and need to replace it. The fan is located behind the back wall INSIDE the freezer. The unit will warm up a little because the air wont circulate the way it is supposed to. You can try unplugging fridge for 30 seconds to reset the control board u can do it yourself although I don't recommend it because u need actual diagnosis but this seems it hope it helps try buying part from sears or amazon
It means there is a wiring error in the door. The only way to fix this error is to get a new door. What a pain! I had the same problem and the freezer was only 1 1/2 years old - thank goodness the manufacturer didn't charge me.
I believe the FF would mean a thermistor has an open circuit . If so then the sensor would need to be replaced .You can ohm the sensor and at room temp it should be around 1100 ohms.
Always disconnect power before attempting to repair any electrical appliance
First make sure you have a good 9v battery installed. If it is ok then the problem will probably be in the display board or the wiring connectors between the boards. CE is communication error. If your model has the electronic tempature control instead of mechanical thermostat the problem could be in there. My bet is a bad connection at display board.
