Keep getting error: The Source selected in the printer driver is not appropriate for the paper that is loaded in the printer. To print on a CD/DVD, first remove the paper and then open the front tray. Load the CD/DVD tray into the front tray, then resume printing. BUT the tray is removed! please help! Thanks.

I had the same problem, same printer. So with a little checking I found a solution. The paper has to be fed through the single page paper feeder. (See manual to setup. Can be downloaded from Epson.) Select manual/roll in the page setup section when you're ready to print. For instance, I was using 8.5 X 11 velvet, so select letter > then subset of roll/manual. After doing this velvet and other specialty paper profiles were selectable.

I have the same problem with a new psc 1610. The paper is not grabbed. Their might be a sticky spray for the rubber rollers to help? Handfeeding each page currently (sigh). All else works well though. good luck.

I just unplugged and shut down the machine, put fresh paper in, waited a minute and it started working again.

SOURCE: the epson printer driver dealing with cd printing is not installed

is there an ok button on that error message? if so just click on OK button and click on a button says manual.
It will let you check on the settings on the printer. paper size should be A4.
on print settings it should let you select on cd/dvd

Note: this only works if you have installed the epson easy print from the epson.com website of your printer model

Trash / re-install epson print cd.
There is a work around for that. Please contact epson.
