Supported cpu I have a P5LD2-VM that I purchased several years ago. I have an old P4 cpu and would like to upgrade to a Core2 Quad. All I can find out for supported core2 cpu is duo & extreme. Can I use a C2 quad?

Dear rjb2

This motherboard supports only up to 1066 FSB (at pcb version 2.0)
The quad core FSB is 1333 therefore it is impossible to use that CPU. I would ask around at the forums or at ASUS if their is any solution. (such as firmware)
