Dear ,i can notconnect my miniDV tape cam to Laptop ,,,,,,,,,,,please giude me. ihave firewire cable and USB cable also.

Make sure you already been installed its software to your laptop ( for fast and best connection).
While your camcoder turning off, connect the usb cable ( small jack in your camcoder) and standard jack for your laptop. Now turn on your camcoder. If you have pre- installed software in your laptop, it will detect automatically your camcoder. If doesn't work try to search manually your camcoder trough 'my computer' or check connection on right lower side of your screen.
