Im having a problem with Starship Troopers game when i play i cant see the screen its just pitch black hen randomly changes to different colours when i move the mouse but it is fine on the start up screeen intro and short parts of the movie only when i am actually playing the game does it screw up

This may not help, but you can try to lower the resloution to another widescreen format.
I'm thinking you may have your resolution maxed out and the video card is having problems with the movie games because of that. Possibly not enough video memory
Movies will work fine at lower resolutions, Not sure about all the games but they probably will too.

its maybe a screen problem you may maybe try it on a other bigger or smaller screen ... or you can pirate the game it isnt illegal if you already have the game

The best you can do is check the compatibility of the game. If you have done express or typical install not the full install try to do full install. Sometimes check the ram requirements. What happens is that sometimes required RAM is in there in the machine but it is sometimes shared with video card which affects the compatibility of the game. If everything is fine than these problems arise when you have any pirated copy of the game. But if not you can try game company's tech support. But you can also try uninstall of game than disk cleanup than install again full installation. It might help.
