I have changed the battery

I have changed the battery in my mouse, changed battery, and pressed the reset button on the mouse and the reciever device and it still does not want to work. what should I do?

press the button on the receiver device first and as it flashes  click the button on the mouse it will find it then also you can un install and put disc back in should help but when the light is flashing its searching for device
