Screen does not work

Hey thanks for stopping by.
the problem i am facing is that the screen is very dim so dark that you cannot be able to see what you are doing. If you look close up you can make out the image being displayed on the screen. would this have to do with anything with the inverter, lamps or backlight? thank you.

I would suggest to take remote control of the computer - then you can see if it is the screen or the graphics card....www.sumox.com can help you here.

In most cases I would instantly say the inverter has failed. The fact you have an Acer I will say it hasn't failed, it's the electronics doing their job.
The problem you will have is failed capacitors and therefore the protection circuits have sprung into action to protect the remaining electronics in the inverter section.

If you know how to replace faulty/failed capacitors then it's an easy task. If not then I would advise your local TV tech do it for you. Repair wise, the parts are cheap, it's the labour that can get expensive. Going in there knowing the problem though will give you the edge when asking for a quote.

HI,

I am not a LCD Tv expert so my advice won't be of use to you.I suggest you to ask the same to Ginko or Benimur.
