I'm sorry, but this is a physical fault, and will require the item to be returned to the manufacturer.
The position of the lens is critical to the image sensors' ability to focus, determine light levels etc. If this is misaligned due to a drop, I can only see things getting worse.
If you fear the cost of repair, might I suggest you check to see if you paid via credit card, as accidental damage is one of the wonderful things a credit card covers.

i turn camera on and it acts like it is going to work but starts making humming noise and goes off. then retry power on appears on screen
