SOURCE: error code FH on my AWM, what does it mean?
Hi,
"FH" is a No Water Detect error. It is an indication that you either have no water coming into the washer, or very little water at all. Check whether the water taps are turned on sufficiently, the inlet hoses are not kinked, the water inlet valve is not clogged, you don't have a siphoning issue, and/or the drain pump is working.
Thank you !!

Hi from France!
You do not say how old you machine is. If it is some years old it COULD be that the brushes in the motor are worn to a situation where they are not contacting the rotating bit (the comutator) correctly all of the time.
Although it is possible to have the brushes changed for new ones there still can be problems if the comutator itself is worn- which is not unusual.
I have just changed the complete motor on our Bosch washer which we estimate is around 15 years old. It did cost £243 (British pounds) but I expect it to last for another 15 years! The symptoms were that it would work some of the time but not all.
If your washer is not very old it is not likely to be the motor itself but it could be the cable contacts to the motor. It is difficult to accurately judge what is wrong without actually being there and looking. Not possible from France- sorry!
