What is the remote code for a Yahama HTR-6230 to program on a Sony remote control? The Sony remote control manual says it needs to be a 3 diget code.

SOURCE: trying to program my Receiver, a Yamaha HTR 6130 to the AUX on my Comcast remote, but neither of the codes they gave me seem to be working.

Do a code search from comcast. If you have the Comcast manual it shows you how to search for codes manually, it can take 15 to 20 minutes for you to do it, however, it should fid your code. The only drawback is that you can only control the volume and power, you won't have input or soundfield control. Hope this helps

Use HDMI because they combine picture and sound in one convenient cable. You can buy the cheapy ones because they work the same as the pricey ones with no degradation in sound quality or picture.
