I am having a problem with nvidia 9800gt graphics card.The Problem is that when I run High graphics applications,High graphics Games like roller coaster tycoon,age of mythology and 3D Screen savers.I get a continuous beep sound from my CPU but the application or screen saver is still running.The continuous long beep sound frustrates me too much.Please kindly solve my problem.

The card works fine whit no driver, but hangs or reboot after a few min. with latest drivers from ATI (maybe they return to theyr habit of making bad drivers :( again). PS: heat problem is out of the question (3 minutes in 12C enviroment temp with open case). DXdiag crashes on Direct3D test. Some game and all aplications works fine for hours, so I don't think is a heat problem

ensure your mainboard is capable of 8X AGP speed. also try to re-install video drivers.

How do you connect to the net? wireless? Also, newer drivers dont always mean better. This problem is most likely driver related. Try rolling video drivers back to the earlier version. If connection is wireless, try reinstalling modem drivers also.

Have you tried the card in another PC to test it? That would be the ideal way to confirm it's a card issue.
