How can I find the frequency of my Audiovox APS-686 remote?

if you need a remote you can buy one from audiovox.com and also you can download the installation manual and user manual in which that will tell you how to program the new remote for the remote start.

Those devices, when operating properly, are commonly not disconnected, but you could attempt to find the power lead and the in-line fuse to make those re-connections, also check the battery(s) in the remote. If the disconnection is more in-depth then you should acquire the installation and owners manual from Audiovox, so as to troubleshoot and maybe discover what else is disconnected.

Did the unit have anything plugged into the blue two pin port? If so, trace that wire (black & gray) to the programming switch. Once you have located the switch, turn key on, press and release the button three times. The parking lights will flash once. Press the lock button on the new remote. Press and release the programming button once (two flashes), press unlock button. Press and release probramming button once( three flashes), press remote start button. Press and release programming button once (four flashes), press option button. Turn key off. test system.
