1. Click help on icon bar.
2. Then go to "About QuickBooks" which is your last option.
3. Next, it will bring up a screen with your license and product number.
4. Hold down the Control key then press R then P.
HI there,
Open the program, go up to the "Help" selection on the far right of the toolbar at the top of the program window and click it. There is a selection there to Register which should get you to the validation code entry screen.
If you have the slightest problem, call Quickbooks and verify bt telephone before your limit is reached.

a sequence of 3 keystrokes is all i need. not trying to beat the system. just trying to get to work. do you know how to directly access the validation code screen after registration. trying to install on a second computer (laptop) for my client. it's their program and i am just looking for a work around. any help please? lee
