I have an ilo mp3/wma digital audio player with version 3.120.DG2.
Serial #D7170801653. It has a SigmaTel property manufacturing tag with
firmware version 3.120.100 %OUT_PAD:128% and serial number
F03A08508AC12B8A.
The issue is that when my son turns on the mp3 player, it freezes on
the flash loading screen with the timer bar at full. I am able to
remove and add songs using Window media player but no go on listening
to them. I have tried using a solution posted by ThaMp3Doctor about formating with no avail. I do not have any of the original information that came with the player. This player is not like the one pictured; it is small and rectangular. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I had the same problem with mine turns out the battery sucked
i dont know if your problem is the same as mine was but i managed to fix mine by taking it apart removing the baterry and rigging up a cell battery by simply taping the bat wires on the terminals it looks pretty bat but hey for 20 mins and some electric tape what can you expect

Go to Sigmatel's website and see if they have a firmware upgrade for your exact model (warning: a lot of companies use Sigmatel chips - if you can find any other manufacturer name, their website is more likely to have the firm upgrade.)
