I bought this camera 6 years ago and it was working fine until last year. At first, I didnt give attention to it (while running XP SP2). Now, i have updated my system and it has Windows Vista installed in it. Somehow I installed the required drivers, skipping couple of Windows Vista driver compatability warnings, but still the camera doesnt work. it only displays black screen (sometimes with dark colored lines of the actual images for a small portion of screen only).
I installed the PCCAM 350 drivers whilst in Vista SAFE mode. After rebooting it seems to work OK with Messenger & Skype.
Sorry talhahs, creative has not written Vista compatible driver software for you're PC-Cam 350 camera. Hence you're camera will not function with any version of Vista.
There are few SD readers currently that are compatible with Vista. Click on this link to see one type.

A card reader that will help you in transferring pictures from you’re camera to you’re PC while using Vista.
Win XP, unlike Vista will still run program software even if it has not passed MS's compatability.
Good Luck!

talhahs, please ignor the part about the SD card reader. That has nothing to do with you're web cam. Sorry....
Well think about it!
The web-cam is six years old. Yeah I got that it did not function with WinXP but it's a mute point since you installed Vista. It does not change the fact that it will not run with Vista. The cheapest thing you can do would be to buy a Vista compatible web cam. There is nothing you can do to possible repair the cam.
