Hello sir, How do we link a java applet code to an oracle database..

The java applet code can only communicate with the server the applet was loaded from (unless it is signed and trusted by the browser).

Then, you need one of the following : Either
*) Your database server will need to be the same as your web server (and open to the world). This is not recommended at all, for security reasons mainly, but also performance reasons.
*) You will need some server side scripts (php and/or cgi) to handle specific requests from the applet and send the information back. (Give some thought to the fact that people might access these scripts without the applet, and will be able to see all the communication between applet and script)

Is there a specific reason for using an applet, rather than javascript/AJAX ? I ask because more browsers support the latter than the former.

Unable to View Java Applet

"load: class JFI.class not found."
Based on the console output, it means that it cannot find the java applet class. In other words, the applet is missing on the server side. There is nothing that you can do about it, unless you know the person who created the applet. Good luck :)

Why Does It Take a Few Tries to Log Into the RO318 with Internet Explorer

Wait for Java to finish loading before typing the username and password. Internet Explorer displays the router's login page before the accompanying Java applet is fully loaded. If you attempt to submit a login before the applet is loaded the router will reject it. Netscape browsers do not have this issue because they do not display the login page until the Java applet is fully loaded. If this does not solve the problem, close and relaunch the browser.
