How do I eject a disk from my Gateway One? I thing that I inserted wrong!

On most laptop disk drives there is a small hole along the front part of the tray. You need to push a straightened paperclip into this hole and push against the lever that is located inside to release the tray. (It actually releases the tray mechanically and it pops out..)

Put the notebook flat on a table and leave the power off. If it doesn't pop out easily you may have to, very carefully, use somethin very thin to help the tray to come out. Don't use too much force as this may damage the tray and the mechanism.
