Problem with touch screen

Dear,

I bought a brand new htc touch P3450 PDA a month back. Have been using the piece with utmost care and has not mishandled it even a single time till now. The touch screen is not working properly...when i try clicking on some option on the screen..an option which is below the point where i click is being operated and not the option which i trying to click..In other words, to chose an option on the screen I had to click a bit upper than on the right spot of the screen..!! why is this happening...pls clarify

I have bought this phone in September 2007 during its special launch in GETEX Dubai though it was very expensive. The phone was sold at AED 2299 with lot of promises. It looks like that this phone is not at all worth and it is not a value for money. The touch screen is damaged in a matter of less than 10 months and the functions are not user friendly. The WIFI was not connecting without service provider Etisalat GPRS, which is too hefty and costing tooooo much. It increases the frustration of the user as sometime when you need to do things quickly, it gives problems like either touch screen is not working.

Further I have taken the phone unit for repairs at one and only CELLUCOM service center in Dubai. This is another nightmare. The receptionist straightaway said that they do not accept warranty for screen damages. The phone steel border was not fixing and he said that too is not covering the warranty. I have taken utmost care while using this phone (as I paid that much money), for the HTC authorized agency have no patience to evaluate the reality and give a detailed explanation why the warranty is not covering such product damages. When a customer pays that much money to a mobile phone, the owner has the right to get good customer service. What I learned ultimately is that you have purchased the phone, now you spend for the service so that HTC just thinks of making money. No Customer focussed. I discourange anyone buying HTC Touch P 3450. I heard many people were saying the phone is good but user like me and my friend both are fed up (3 phone owners of HTC) with HTC's great product.

I have exactly the same problem as mentioned above. Re aligning the screen does only solve it for a few minutes. It will be missaligned after a few minutes.
