Icemaker After my icetray dumps the ice it does not level out when it returns to ice making position so the water shoots out in the freezer and only partially fills tray. Not sure what to do to make the tray level properly. Thanks for any help. I am having same trouble with my icemaker. When it dumps ice, the tray does not return to level. So when it fills with water, some water runs out of the tray and into the ice bin, which then freezes into big chunks of ice. This ultimately leads to ice no being able to be dispensed from the door.

I am having the exact same problem. I use to love my fridge... now I'm starting to really regret getting it.

How do you change the ice tray to the new one? Do you need to remove the entire ice maker?

How did you install the new ice tray? Did the part come with instructions? I found the new tray - just wondering about the install.

I did fix it! I purchased a new ice tray for this refrigerator. The new tray has a higher lip on the front left of the tray, which helps to prevent the water from coming out of the tray. Also, while I can't really explain it because the higher edge is all that is different from the original tray, since changing out the tray, the tray returns to a level position after dumping.
