There will either be a toggle or button on the laptop or if not you have to go into device manager in control panel and select network devices and you will see your wireless card then go to activate but i will need your OS to be able to give you exact instructions i hope to hear from you soon

your laptop should have a off/on power switch for the wireless adapter. it could be located on the side or infront of the unit. there is an icon also that show computer with wireless signal. this indicator means that your wireless adapter is turned on. make sure that the switch is always in to this direction. or you can press the fn button plus the F5 or F6 key.
