My projector will come on, and show the startup screen, but when i press input for it to connect to the connected laptop, it does nothing. we just purchased it about a year ago. HELP!

using with.Pls also check
1. The display setting should not be more than XGA resolution
1024x768. Also try on 800x600 resolution

I have a similar problem. I am using an Acer notebook laptop. However, the difference in my situation is that after turning on the computer and pressing the enter button on the projector, the signal from the computer comes through until the "welcome" message from microsoft windows comes on.
