SOURCE: How can you replace a blown lamp in a Microtek

Hello,

replacing the lamp is not a difficult task, the most important thing is to disassemble the unit. Once the unit is successfully disassemble, all you need do is to fixing the lamp into its position and that would be all.

Turn of the Microtek scan-maker, remove it from the plug, get a Phillips screw driver that can fit into the screws of the Microtek scan-maker. Unscrew all the screws on the Microtek scan-maker, use a flat screw driver to pry the Microtek scan-maker from the side in order to be able to take the cover apart.

The moment you are able to successfully take the Microtek scan-maker apart, you will see the lamp, then you can make necessary replacement.

I hope you understand the above. If you don't, please let me know.

Good luck.
