Dew problem Hi i have vl-z5e sharp camcorder with e007 dew problem, i had to pay to fix this problem first time to change the sensor. after 3 month waranty expired i had again the same problem i dont want to change the sensor again because i don,t trust that problem will happen again i sudgested to the technician to try if he can remove the sensor and put resistor instead to delete sensor but he refused. my question is can i delet that sensor and if yes do you know where is that sensor in the corder and how it look like(i can do it my selfe because i am technician)thanx

Thats great that you are technician. This dew sensor locates near video head assy area. you need to find it urself. this sensor looks like black carbon pattern on white cemented plate or yellowish flexible base. Main thing is it has only 2 points and can be recognise easily. just remove it and place 1k or 820 ohms resistor there. I am not sure about resistor value because it depends on circuit requirement. Hope this info helps you out.
