which is the software to see tv on my laptop ..means which programme..how to see tv on a  laptop

if you have a TV tuner card. Then you can view ur TV with media centre if your TV is compatible with Media centre. Then You can try Intervideo WINDVR, Pixel View. from their websites.
If you have a broadband connection then go to www.freetv.com and download and install their application. its a freeware.
